3rd Quarter Projects

The four projects I would like to accomplish this quarter are contrast/texture, reflection, portrait photography, and urban decay. For contrast/texture I would like to photograph ordinary objects that have an intricacy that is normally ignored. For instance, I would take a photo of a lamp or a similar household object that has an awesome texture that is not usually examined. For reflection photos I would like to take photos of the reflection of some important symbols in our country, because I am traveling to Washington, D.C. This is symbolic because it will be the reflection of structures such as the Washington Monument, but it will also mentally be the reflection of how our country became what it is today. For portrait photography I plan on taking pictures of people at the March for Life Rally in Washington, D.C. These photos will be of all different types of people fighting the cold because they so strongly believe in their cause. Lastly, for urban decay I want to photograph environmental destruction such as smoke or litter.
